No. Florence eBinders™ does not have “negative” Permissions. To remove a Permission selected in a Role, the Permission must be removed at the Role level for all Users.
To make this flexible, we recommend using the “Duplicate” option. Select the Role that most closely fits the needs of the User in mind and click on the “Duplicate” link. Name the new Role something specific to the User, modify the Permissions, and then assign it to the User.
A sample workflow may look something like this:
- Navigate to the "Manage Roles" page by selecting the "Settings" link in the upper right corner of your screen, then select "Manage Roles" from the drop-down list. On the "Manage Roles" page, select the “Admin Role”, then select “Duplicate”.
2. Name the new Role “Admin Role - Jane Doe”. Modify the Permissions to suit the needs of Jane Doe. Save the new Role.
3. Go to the ”Manage Team” page (by selecting "Settings" in the upper right corner of your screen) and select the Role link(s) to the right of the User’s Name and remove the Role “Admin Role” and assign the Role “Admin Role – Jane Doe”.
